This holiday season has been filled with the sale of many Buckwheat feeding tube holders.  It has actually been a record year for sales.  Although we are very grateful that we are able to help people to simplify their tube feedings, we are also humbled by the fact that someone needs a feeding for a cure bell lap coffee french roast

With the new year comes another way we are trying to help.  My wife and I launched our own artisan roasted coffee business Bell Lap Coffee.  Knowing that many of the people who purchase our syringe holder cannot enjoy the artisan roasted coffee we decided to create a way that we can give back with our new venture.

The idea came to me when I was up at 3 am on Thanksgiving morning making Bell Lap Coffee for a local Turkey Trot when I got a notification that I sold a Feeding Tube Holder.  It really hit home knowing that I was about to enjoy a great Thanksgiving meal and there is someone out there that is just looking for a way to simplify their tube feedings at 3 am!!!

All proceeds from ‘Coffee for a Cure’ are given to the ALS Therapy Development Institute in honor of Bell Lap Coffee co-founder, Justin Rumley’s father Steve "Buckwheat" Rumley who passed away from ALS in 2009.

The ALS Therapy Development Institute is the world’s first and largest nonprofit biotech focused solely on ALS research. Led by people with ALS and drug development experts, they understand the urgent need to slow and stop this disease. The artisan roasted coffee beans in this bag are bold, just like the work being done at the ALS Therapy Development Institute to slow and stop this disease.
